Yes, you can! Simply go to our Suites page and click the ‘Book Now’ button for your chosen suite. This will allow you to enter your dates and number of cats and will provide you with a cost of the accommodation.
If you have applied a promotional code or wish to add extras such as ‘cat TV’ or our raw diet, click ‘Continue’ and you will be taken to the invoice view where you can apply any extras and see the total cost of the stay.
Your booking will not be finalised until payment is processed.
Like us, we know many of you have multiple furbabies. For each additional furbaby we charge only a $25 flat rate per night for bookings in any of our Five-Star or Penthouse suites, or if you prefer, you can have interconnecting Standard suites which are great for those cats that like each other but like their own space as well!
When you book, you’ll have the opportunity to let us know how many furbabies you’ll be checking in and provide any specific instructions for each of them.
Research shows that it takes a minimum of 24-48 hours for cats to settle into a new environment. For this reason we have a 2 night minimum stay on all bookings to optimise the health, safety and happiness of your furbaby.
No toothbrush is required for your furbaby’s stay at the Retreat, but we do encourage you to pack anything that will make them feel even more at home.
- Favourite bed or blanket
- Favourite toy (or toys)
- Something that smells like you
- Brush or other grooming equipment (if you prefer to use your own – if not we have plenty at Furbaby Retreat!)
- Food if your furbaby has specialty food requirements, otherwise we will attempt to meet any specific requirements and mirror their at-home feeding regime
Please be sure to label ALL of your items, including food, in advance.
And no need to worry about a thing, whatever you don’t bring, we’ll supply.
At Furbaby Retreat we prioritise the health of all our guests. As such it is essential that evidence of vaccinations must be supplied from your family vet, ideally prior to check-in.
At a minimum, all furbabies must have a current F3 vaccination, which covers your cat for:
- Feline Panleukopenia
- Feline Calicivirus
- Feline Herpesvirus
Titre test results from your vet showing your furbaby’s immune status will be accepted in lieu of a current vaccination certificate.
In addition, all furbabies must have had a recent worm and flea treatment, which will cover them for the full period of their stay. Any furbabies suspected to have worms or fleas will have a treatment administered at a cost of $20 to be paid at the time of checkout.
Daily updates will be sent to your communication channel of choice (SMS, Email, Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp) to provide updates on your furbaby’s stay and give you peace of mind.
Furbaby Retreat has very thorough health and hygiene protocols as part of our standard practice, including daily cleaning of all suites and surfaces with veterinarian grade disinfectant and strict use of hand sanitiser. In addition, all bowls are cleaned and fresh water administered at every feed, and litter trays are cleaned twice daily.
With regard to current COVID-19 health protocols, our staggered appointment approach ensures that not only will the check-in and check-out experience be as low stress as possible for your furbaby, you will not be coming into contact with any other Furbaby Retreat clients in the process.
Please also note that according to the World Health Organisation (WHO), there is currently no evidence companion animals or pets can spread the virus that causes COVID-19, and there is no evidence that cats can be a source of COVID-19 infection to people.

We close our doors a few hours each day to make sure our furbaby guests get all the cuddles, pats, brushes and love they desire.
Cancellation 6 or more days prior to the booking will result in a 90% refund. Any cancellations within 6 days of the booking date will result in a refund of 25% of your booking fee. A full refund may be provided for emergency cancellations – refer to our Terms and Conditions.
We recognise that travel plans are a little uncertain at the moment, and can be disrupted in an instant thanks to COVID-19! In the case of a cancellation due to government mandated restrictions, for example a state or regional lock-down or non-travel order due to COVID-19, a gift voucher to the full value of the booking will be offered and can be used towards any future bookings for your furbaby in the 12 months following cancellation.
We happily accept changes to bookings based on availability. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make any changes to your booking.
While we recommend your furbaby stays put to help them feel settled throughout their stay, your furbaby can experience a mix of our Standard, Five Star or Penthouse Suites depending on availability. Please contact the Furbaby Retreat team to inquire.

Yes! We’re proud to offer the following discounts:
- A 5% discount for pensioners is available. Please use the promotional code ‘PENSIONER’ when you book and make sure you bring your pension card for presentation upon check-in.
- A 5% discount for staff in the veterinary industry (e.g. vets, vet nurses) is available upon presentation of proof of employment (photo ID).

Yes, Furbaby Retreat is happy to look after and care for sick furbabies – as long as they do not have an infectious disease that would put other cats at risk. Any health issues need to be disclosed up-front as part of booking process.
If your furbaby presents with coughing, sneezing, runny nose or runny eyes that are not related to a pre-disclosed condition known to be non-contagious, your furbaby will be confined to their suite for the duration of their stay. We recommend talking to your vet if you notice any of these symptoms in your cat prior to their Furbaby Retreat holiday.
Refer to our Terms and Conditions for more information.
Wherever possible we will use your furbaby’s preferred vet given to us with your check-in information. If for any reason they are unavailable, we will use our vet partners, North Perth Vet Centre. Before any decisions are made about vet care, we will attempt to contact you and/or your emergency contact if you’re not available.
Yes, Furbaby Retreat supports and is happy to cater for a raw diet. We offer two raw food options at the Retreat:
- Bring in your furbaby’s favourite food for the period of the stay at no extra charge. We recommend frozen daily portions which can be defrosted in the fridge each day so they are fresh for mealtime; or
- Furbaby Retreat stocks Raw Meow freeze dried meal, Raw Meow Mix and a range of biologically appropriate foods (e.g. ZiwiPeak) at an additional cost of $4 per furbaby per night. Just select the ‘Raw Menu’ option on the booking form. Please note: if your furbaby is not currently on a raw diet we do not recommend this option for their stay, but rather suggest they continue with their standard feeding regime they have at home.
5% of all booking fees are donated to cats in need via several of Perth’s welfare organisations. In 2020, we are proud to support Cat Haven, RSPCA, and WA Pet Project.
